Born and raised in southeast Michigan, Dennis Bandemer, Jr has been a highly regarded board-certified physiatrist since 2007. After high school, he attended Michigan State University where he graduated with honors. He then went on to medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center serving as Chief Resident. After finishing residency, he joined Rehabilitation Physicians, P.C. and has been president of the practice since 2022. Dr. Bandemer is a proud member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Osteopathic Association, and American Medical Association. Throughout his years of practice, he has been recognized by his peers as a Top Doc in Hour Detroit Magazine multiple times.

Dr. Bandemer's passion is helping his patients relieve pain, recover from injuries, and regain function. During each visit, his goal it to help his patients identify and understand the source of their symptoms, develop a treatment plan specific to their condition, and educate them on lifelong maintenance. Currently, he treats patients at the Novi and Howell offices and helps those patients requiring rehabilitation care at Corewell Health (formerly Beaumont, Farmington Hills) and Garden City Hospital.

FUN FACTS

Dr. Bandemer currently resides in Brighton with his wife, 4 children, and 8 pets that include dogs, cats, and mice. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, boating, and golfing. He has Michigan State University clothing for every day of the week and for every season. He could possibly be their biggest fan!
